However, as I clicked on their website I realised it really would be dollar I was spending, the brand is American (I mean, I really should’ve noticed that in their Instagram name LA…) and even though the item itself wasn’t that badly priced ($22) I knew with shopping costs it’d rack up to a whopping $37 which I’m just not going to spend on a pot of glitter.Īs much as I’d love to be able to support the company, a broke ass b**ch like me with no job really can’t warrant spending that much on some glitter (no matter how much my past child self is screaming for it,) so I took it upon myself to make my own… Not only was it fairy dust goals but all their products are cruelty-free and vegan so I was ready to splash some dollah. The reason it gets it’s name “Houdini” is because in some lights this glitter paste will look completely invisible, but in others, a beautiful electric/ultraviolet blue glitter sparkles to the high heavens…and I just knew I had to have it. Now anything sparky catches my eye (my inner 5 year old squeals with joy at anything that reeks of pink and fairies) but this was a body glitter like nothing I had seen before. Lemonhead, a company that makes “glitter for adults,” was flashing their famous space paste in Houdini. A typical day of mindless scrolling through my Instagram feed, trying to find something to pull me out of boredom (something I’ve probably wasted most of my life doing) I came across a brand which changed the glitter game, forever.
